Meet Emily! This lovely lady is as
sweet as can be! At about 38 pounds, she is very kind and affectionate
towards everyone that she meets and is the last of her litter to look
for a forever family!
Emily has a great personality and is very active and will need mental and physical stimulation on a daily basis. She loves playing with other dogs at the shelter, and can't wait to make new friends in D.C. While Emily gets along well with other dogs, we haven't had a chance to see her interact with kids or cats yet. If you have either, let us know and we'll find out more.
Emily is most likely done growing, but will still need a committed owner to provide training and exercise to be a well-behaved dog.
Emily is dreaming of finding a warm and loving forever home! All she needs is a caring person or family to give her all the love and care (and treats!) she deserves!
Like most shelter dogs, Emily may need a refresher on housetraining. She is likely crate trained.
